SHOWUP should feel like a dating community of people who actually intend to meet, not another collection of dead chats.

Show up as yourself

No fake identities, misleading ages, stolen photos or deliberately deceptive profile information.

Real photos only

Use recent, genuine photos of yourself that reflect how you look. AI-generated faces or people, stolen photos, face-changing beauty filters and deceptive retouching are not allowed, including for your main profile photo. Normal cropping, brightness and colour corrections are fine. Photos that break these rules may be removed and repeated deception can lead to account restrictions. A photo upload declaration is not proof of identity.

Show respect

No harassment, threats, hate, sexual coercion, stalking or repeated unwanted contact. Respect a no immediately.

Use gifts respectfully

Virtual gifts are an optional way to show extra interest — not a way to pressure somebody into replying. Do not repeatedly send gifts to chase a response or try to use gifts to bypass a block, rejection or another member's boundaries. SHOWUP may limit gift frequency or restrict gift access where needed to prevent misuse.

No scams or selling

Do not ask members for money, financial information, investments, real-world gifts or payments. SHOWUP virtual gifts are in-app signals only and are not permission to request money or items from another member. Dating profiles are not advertising accounts.

Keep private things private

Do not publish another person's contact details, messages, images or other private information without permission.

Actually date

Be clear about your intentions. If you make a plan, communicate if plans change. SHOWUP is designed to reward respectful, reliable dating behaviour without member-written public reviews.
